I’ve entered a stage where this is now habit and instinct. As the great master once said, 'before you learn to fight, a punch is a punch and a kick is a kick. While you are learning to fight a punch becomes more than a punch and a kick more than a kick. Once you master fighting a punch again becomes and punch and a kick becomes a kick'. Such is the way with learning to cook, train and supplement the body to maximise performance.
Before learning about foods, we eat according to hunger and taste preference. We eat according to availability and peer lead choices. We eat because of advertising and compelling addictive combinations of sugar, salt, fat and MSG analogues. Here you will re-learn the ways to approach food and become a discerning consumer. Learning along the way the optimal way to nourish yourself and the people who you hold dear.

Who this book is for
Right now, I’m in an instinctive phase of eating and training. That’s where I want you to get to after reading and digesting this book. Learning to cook and eat well is an art form, but the basics you can learn fast. Like all the great 'ways' - and cooking and eating is truly a 'way'- mastery will come with the years you practice.
Some of you will already know your way around macros, cooking and the kitchen. In this instance the book will provide delicious spins on recipes old, and many new ones to please the pallet and impress friends. The 'making it', sections take every-day meals and recipes and enhance them to enhance your nutrition and push your body a little harder.

This book is the Nuts and Bolts of how to eat, train, sleep and an introduction on how to fix imbalanced systems to improve and stay strong for life.
The first section deals as it were with the tools of the trade. We look at the make-up of foods, proteins, fat, carbs + fibre. What they are and what they do. How to put them together and make food plans to ‘fit your macros’ We also deal with food timing, fasting and carb cycling in this section. We also talk about hydration and key stone habits in here.
Technical Chapters
Here’s where we deal with the big rocks, insulin and hormones, inflammation, oxidative-stress, digestion, sex, sleep, addiction, muscle building (staying strong) brain function, detoxification and cognition, injury and immune function.
